SERVICING

Explorer Marine provide servicing and preparation and winter layup storage to customers with Explorer RIBs, and for those with boats of other brands our sister companies - Cornwall Boat Services and Mattos Services - will be please to help in Cornwall and Devon respectively..

We were Boat Builder Dealers for Evinrude and Suzuki engines, but have experienced staff who will work on any brand of engine and on any part of your boat. This includes servicing and repairs to diesel or petrol engines, marine electrics, seats and soft trim, GRP and gel coat repairs. In fact, our role is to look after the whole of your boat, engine and trailer.

We are happy to advise your local service agent of our techniques should they need to know.

The labour rate for boat and engine servicing for 2024 is £39 to £52 to £66 per hour depending upon the employee and the job being done..

Discounts may apply to large jobs of more than 7 hours.

Our storage and service work is carried out in accordance with the terms and conditions as drawn up by the British Marine Federation ( BMF). Please ask for a copy of our terms and conditions if required.
